Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Al-Futtaim Toyota for the maintenance of its fleet of Toyota vehicles.

Volvo Cars has set a new, sixth consecutive global sales record in 2019, breaking the 700,000 cars sold mark for the first time in its 93-year history.

The company recorded sales of 705,452 cars in 2019, an increase of 9.8 per cent compared to 2018, solidly outgrowing the overall market across all regions, said a statement from the company.

Audi, a leading automotive company, has reported deliveries of approximately 1,845,550 cars to customers in 2019, representing an increase of 1.8 per cent.

In all three core markets, Audi delivered more automobiles in 2019 than in the previous year. In China, the company set a new record with a total of 690,083 vehicles delivered (+4.1 per cent).

ABU DHABI, 13th January, 2020 (WAM) -- The automotive trade index in Abu Dhabi has maintained its positive momentum achieving 5 percent growth during the first ten months of 2019, compared to the same period in 2018.

More than 5,300 Nissan Tiida cars have been recalled in the UAE because of an airbag problem.

Nissan Middle East distributors Arabian Automobiles and Al Masaood Automobiles announced the recall of the Tiida models of 2010 to 2013 in coordination with the Ministry of Economy.

German car maker Daimler said on Saturday it will recall 744,000 Mercedes-Benz vehicles in the United States from the 2001 through 2011 model years because the sunroof glass panel could detach and pose a hazard.
